2018 Candidate Grading Ballot
Your input will enable us to vote on our endorsements, create our 2018 Democratic Primary Voters Guide, and vote on which candidates we should organize volunteer events for leading up to the 3/6/18 Primary Election. To be eligible to vote, you need to have attended a LUTU meeting, canvassing, event, or worked on a project with us in the past six months.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THIS BALLOT IS 12PM CT ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 26th.
Rate Candidates in each category on a 1-5 scale, carefully considering the categories in each question header.
Every candidate (except County-level) is being scored three separate times on three sets of criteria:
- Official Platform, Public Statements, and Voting Record (this set of criteria will be double-weighted)
- Resume, Endorsements, and Miscellaneous
- Consistency/Honesty of candidate and integrity of funding sources (omitted for county-level candidates due to insufficient information)
Before voting, keep the google folder linked above open as your reference
The first two docs are candidate responses that we received to the identical candidate questionnaires that we sent out to all of these candidates.
The other eight docs contain relevant information on all of the candidates pulled from our ballot research team's efforts this year. Each question has one corresponding doc.
